Warning: Phishing emails sent in the name of Infomedics

You regularly receive emails or letters from various organizations. Unfortunately, criminals are increasingly misusing the names of these organizations by sending fake messages that resemble genuine communications. We would like to draw your attention to fake emails sent in the name of Infomedics. Infomedics sends the invoice for your treatment on our behalf.

We’re happy to help you stay safe when dealing with digital messages. Below, you’ll find information on what to look out for and how to recognize genuine communications from Infomedics.

How can you tell if an Infomedics invoice is genuine?

  1. Inclusion of your healthcare provider
A genuine bill always clearly states which healthcare provider you visited.
  2. Infomedics addresses you personally at
. The salutation on invoices sent by Infomedics via email includes your first and last name.
  3. Payment reference:
A genuine Infomedics account has a 14-digit payment reference that always ends in 071. Verify this using the Infomedics account checker.

  4. Payment Portal In a genuine Infomedics email, you will find a blue button that links to
https://rekening.infomedics.nl. There, you can make a secure payment using iDEAL.
Infomedics does not send direct iDEAL or Wero payment links via email.
  5. No attachments
For your security, Infomedics never attaches the full invoice, which includes details of your healthcare costs.
