Consultation

You can visit us during our office hours at one of the health centers; if necessary, we can come to your home.

A consultation consists of two parts:

  1. The time during which you, as a client, are present.
  2. Indirect time—the time the dietitian spends calculating and developing a personalized treatment plan, informing the referring physician, and recording your information. As a client, you are generally not present during these activities.

Aninitial consultationlasts 75 minutes, of which 45 minutes are direct and 30 minutes are indirect. Afollow-up consultationlasts 30 to 45 minutes, of which 15 to 30 minutes are direct and 15 minutes are indirect.

Aninitial home visitlasts 90 minutes, of which 60 minutes are direct and 30 minutes are indirect.Follow-up home visitslast 45 minutes, of which 30 minutes are direct and 15 minutes are indirect.

Costs

If you consult a dietitian, you are entitled to 3 hours of coverage under your basic health insurance plan. Under the basic health insurance plan, every adult is subject to a mandatory deductible. If your healthcare costs exceed the amount of the legally required deductible, your insurance will cover the full cost of the dietitian’s services.

Are you participating in an integrated care program for diabetes, lung diseases, or CVRM based on a doctor’s referral? If so, all costs will be covered and are not subject to the legally required deductible.

Do you need more than 3 hours of dietary counseling? And do you have supplemental health insurance? Check whether your health insurer covers dietary counseling under your supplemental health insurance plan.
