Three new general practitioners introduce themselves
gc Drie Meren
My name is Paul Prinsen Geerligs, and as of January 5, 2026, I have taken over the general practice of Ans Hoekstra. For the past 15 years, I have worked with great pleasure as a general practitioner in Amsterdam Osdorp. Prior to that, I worked for several years at an emergency relief organization in Africa. Additionally, I have worked in a hospital within anesthesiology and internal medicine, and I also have experience as a child health clinic physician. I have broad interests and appreciate the versatility of the profession. That is also the reason why I ultimately chose general practice. What I find most rewarding about my work is looking together with patients at what is needed and jointly arriving at an appropriate course of action or treatment.
My fixed working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

My name is Lennart Tonneijck (1987). As of March 1, 2026, I will be taking over the general practice from Arrianne Tange with great pleasure. As a GP, I find it important to listen carefully and, based on current medical insights, to determine together what you need. I derive great pleasure from building a relationship of trust. I have an affinity for caring for children, people with mental health issues, surgery, and end-of-life care.
I trained as a physician and obtained my PhD as a scientific researcher at VUmc. It was also here that I completed my training as a General Practitioner in 2022, after having worked in internal medicine at the Spaarne Gasthuis for a period.
My fixed working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

My name is Anisa Noordzij. I would like to introduce myself to you. I studied medicine at the VUmc in Amsterdam. Coincidentally, I completed my GP rotation in the summer of 2020 at the practice I am now taking over, so you may have seen me before. I already knew after finishing my studies that I wanted to become a GP, but to first gain some broad experience, I worked for a year as a junior doctor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Pulmonology at the Alrijne Hospital in Leiderdorp. Subsequently, I specialized as a GP at the Amsterdam UMC, where I worked in practices in Nieuw-Vennep and Heerhugowaard.
What I find most rewarding about being a GP is the long-term bond you build with your patients, allowing you to get to know each other well. I am a good listener and believe it is important to work together with you to find a suitable solution. Furthermore, I particularly enjoy the breadth of the profession, meaning no two days are the same.
I will be working on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I look forward to getting to know you!
