Social work and support
Do you have problems or concerns in your daily life? Or do you sometimes feel lonely and could use some support? Then you can turn to welfare organization MeerWaarde.
This support is free and you do not need a referral from your GP.
Social work
A social worker listens to your story, thinks along with you, and helps you find solutions. Together, you look at which support best suits your situation.
You can come to us for example for:
- problems in your relationship or family;
- a divorce;
- grief after the loss of a loved one;
- feelings of loneliness;
- stress, anxiety or tension;
- dealing with illness or health problems;
- financial worries or debts;
- problems at work;
- contact with authorities.
All conversations are confidential.
Social broker
Research has shown how important social contacts and a connection with other people are for health. If you sometimes feel lonely or lack a sense of connection, it can help to meet new people, participate in a (group) activity, or do volunteer work. The social broker can assist you with this.
The social broker:
- thinks along with you;
- helps you make new contacts;
- point out activities in the neighborhood;
- if you want to organize something yourself in the neighborhood / have a nice idea for the neighborhood (residents);
- when you want to get involved as a volunteer.
