Complaints procedure
Stichting Gezondheidscentra Haarlemmermeer aims to provide you with care of the best possible quality. We therefore strive to help everyone who visits us in the best possible way. Despite this effort, you may have a complaint regarding the care and services provided.
- Complaint
A complaint can concern a missed appointment, the way a healthcare provider treated you, but also matters regarding the care provided to you, the organization of care, or a mistake made. It concerns matters that, in your opinion, should or could have gone differently.
- Make your complaint known
A complaint is a signal that our care and services can be improved. Every complaint is taken seriously and is always treated confidentially. In response to a complaint, we make improvements to the care provided or the organization (if necessary and possible).
- How do you submit your complaint?
We know from experience that complaints often relate to clients' expectations of care provision and to communication between clients and care providers. Therefore, it is best to first discuss the complaint with the care provider concerned or their supervisor. If this discussion does not lead to a solution, you can submit the complaint to the complaints officer.
- Complaints Officer
The complaints officer is independent and impartial and handles your complaint confidentially. The complaints officer can play a mediating role between you and the person against whom your complaint is directed. The goal of the mediation is to find a solution and restore contact and trust.
- Your complaint leads to a dispute
If engaging the complaints officer does not lead to a satisfactory solution for you, you may decide to submit a dispute to the dispute resolution body. This body investigates and assesses whether the dispute is well-founded and admissible.
The general practitioners and pharmacies of the health centers, as well as the health centers themselves, are affiliated with the Foundation for Complaints and Disputes in Primary Care (SKGE). You can find more information about the dispute resolution procedure and submitting a dispute to the SKGE on their website.
